Resideo Technologies Supports SIAC
with $100,000 Donation

Frisco, Texas (May 31, 2019) – Resideo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: REZI), a leading global residential provider of critical comfort and security solutions, and distributor of low-voltage and security products, is funding $100,000 to help promote the work of the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC). The announcement was made at ISC West in Las Vegas.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Glen Mowrey, Security Industry Alarm Coalition’s National Law Enforcement Liaison and Retired Deputy Chief, Charlotte-Mecklenburg (NC) Police Department was recognized and honored by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) with its Lifetime Achievement Award at its 2018 Winter Training Conference in Athens, Georgia.

The Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) Directors Award of Distinction for Excellence in Alarm Management was presented to the Atlanta (GA) Police Department during a December Command Staff Meeting. The Atlanta Police Department using the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) Model Alarm Ordinance reduced their alarm calls by 56.9 percent over a four-year period, dropping alarm dispatches from 65,000 calls annually to 28,000 a reduction of 37,000 calls, netting 11.74 officers.

Leo Guthart Receives SIAC’s Moody Award at ESX

Frisco, Texas (June 19, 2017) – Leo Guthart a veteran of over 35 years in the security industry has been recognized for his leadership and contribution to the industry with the William N. Moody Award.  Started in 2004 by the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), the Moody award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates a passion for advancing positive alarm management and best industry practices.
